megan: justin tuft lifting me up and over every row of bleachers because we were up on the top and i was in a skirt!!!
kevin: besides the fact that it took 4 and a half hours, just sitting and talking to hailee

megan: a park in provo canyon...

K's Awards Banquet

So... I know that I have been posting alot lately, but there are just so many things to talk about! This year Kevin has done alot of racing. He decided to race in the Rocky Mountain Raceway circuit. He made to all races except for one! He had a great season and finished SECOND OVERALL!!! So Friday night we attended an awards banquet where he was awarded his rather large trophy. It was really great to see him so excited and I am really proud of him for soing so well! GOOD JOB BABE!!!

The Sand Dunes

We decided that since winter is definately on it's way we would get out to the dunes one last time for the year... IT WAS PERFECT!!! The weather was great and the sand was perfect for riding. I didn't even get stuck! Here are just a few pics from our little trip. Kevin had a pretty good day of jumping, he whipped out some tricks, but as always I didn't have the camera on hand for those, I really should learn to have it out all the time!!!

Happy Snow Day!

Yeah I know it's been a couple of days since it actually snowed, BUT I just wantd everyone to know that I made it through my first "winter commute" alive! See all the whiteness behind me in the picture?!? Yep, it was pretty much a 100% snow filled day! (not too happy about it) Happy snow driving everyone! Stay safe!!!

Yep we sure voted!!! It was Kevin's first time and so he was just SOO proud of himself! He sent me this picture right after he cast his ballot so I decided to copy him for the sake of the BLOG! ;)

HALLOWEEN

Hope everyone had a very fun and exciting Halloween!!! We had alot of fun, here are a few pics just to give you an idea... Kevin was really scary looking in his big black cape and his face all painted. I was a mummy, a big thanks to my Mommy for helping me rip the sheet apart, rub the strips in Cinnamon, and hot glue them to myself. Our good friends T.J. and Krista were firefighters... Didn't I do a good job with their makeup??? Ha ha. All in all we had fun dressing up and acting like kids again!!!

ONE MONTH!!!

Last night Kevin and I celebrated our one month anniversary!!! KFC, a Red Box Movie, and some wedding cake made a great evening!!! I have never been one who thought that 1 year old freezer burned cake sounded that appetizing so I was so excited when the cake lady told me that she would re make the top layer of our cake for our One Year Anniversary, so we decided to just jump into this one now.. Here are a few pics. Oh yeah and don't laugh because I am DEFINATELY not wearing any make up!!! So gross I know!!!

Another Day, BUT NOT Another Dollar! :(

I am really getting worried and don't know what to do, maybe one of you can help... So on Monday Kevin and I will have been married for a month. YAY!!! But Monday also represents something else, the 5th week that Kevin has not had a job. He was laid off the Monday before our wedding, and he has not been able to find a job since! It is getting depressing! He has called a ton of places but of course no one is hiring. Does anyone know of any job openings?? He was working as an electritian but now we will be happy with ANYTHING that pays!!! Let me know! He is also available to work on any electrical sidejobs that anyone might have!!!

HE'S HOME!!!

YAY!!! Kevin is home!!! I was so excited to see him! I even hugged him (even though he smelt a little funky) but I guess thats what happens when a boy hasn't showered in a few days! ha ha. But if I do say so myself he did look rather hot with the little bit of "hunting scruff" that grew on his face over the duration of his trip! WELCOME HOME BABE!!!

ONE MORE NIGHT!!!

So... only one more night at home by myself!!! Tonight I will go home from school and it will be the last night of having to walk into a dark empty house!!! YAY! I can't wait to see my man!

The Hunt...

So... I seem to be a free girl this weekend. Kevin left to go deer hunting yesterday, I dropped him off at his parents around 10:30 a.m. and I left there by 11:30 a.m. To be honest I don't know what I am going to do with myself!!! I managed to keep busy testerday by doing apartment shops for my boss' company, then had a girls night with my fam... they stayed over last night and we spent all day together. It was alot of fun!!! They left around 8:00 tonight. I have no idea how to fill the days, or nights for that matter... until TUESDAY!!! Tomorrow will be the hardest, watching football by yourself is never that enjoyable!!! Kevin and I usually end up cheering on different teams, so tomorrow I will just have to guess which he would rather have win and then root for the opposite ha ha!!! Monday won't be so bad, I'll have to go to work then school, night time will definately be the worst!! I am officialy afraid of the dark so I might have to leave a light on! YES, I know I'm a baby!!! But what do ya do?!?!

Homework... It's for the birds!!!

I can't even tell you how sick I am of doing homework!!! I took a break after about 3 hours of it yesterday to go out to dinner for Kevin's mom's birthday dinner, then we were going to go to a haunted house but the line was so long and it was so cold that we decided to save it for another time. Then today we went up to Snow Bird for Kevin's annual family dinner up there. it was fun to be up there and walk around, but we also realized the YES winter is coming!!! There was snow up there and it was so cold. It made me sad!!! I'm so not ready to give up summer yet! Well, I suppose I'll get back to MORE homework!

None of the people in the store are competent enough to help me out... if they can't help figure anything out what are they getting paid for?!?!

It turned out to be a sad day... Kevin's Great Grandma Godwin passed away today. She has had a wonderful life and was a very wonderful woman. She will be greatly missed by everyone!

So... aren't you proud? I updated my profile info!!! YAY ME!!! But I feel that I am already getting addicted, this might not be a good thing!!! Kevin made fun of me when I told him that I created this, but he is a BOY and BOYS just don't understand!!!
